Special Meeting 5/24/10
As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 4, Delaware County, Oklahoma will hold a SPECIAL MEETING on May 24, 2010, at 6:30 o’clock p.m., at the Superintendent’s Room, Dan Draper Community Center, Colcord Public Schools, 433 South Larmon, Colcord, Oklahoma.
AGENDA
The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above meeting:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Roll call.
3. Approval of agenda.
4. Discussion, recommendation, and vote to eliminate/not eliminate the town bus route.
5. Discussion, recommendation, and vote to eliminate/not eliminate one rural bus route.
6. Vote to enter into executive session to discuss the following:
Discussion of personnel; the employment of an ACE Remediation Tutor/coach for the 2010-2011 school year. (As authorized by statute (301)(B)(1))
7. Vote to re-enter open session.
8. Executive Session Minutes Compliance report.
9. Discuss, make recommendations and vote to hire, not hir, or table the hiring of an ACE Remediation Tutor/Coach for the 2010-2011 school year. (As authorized by statute (307)(B)(1))
10. Board to consider and take possible action, in the absence of the President or Clerk, to appoint and acting President and/or acting Clerk for the School district to execute any and all documents pertaining to the calling of a special election to authorize general obligation bonds.
11. Board to take action on the employment of Stephen L. Smith, Corporation, as Financial Consultants to the District.
12. Board to consider and take action on a resolution authorizing the calling and holding a special election to be held in this School District to authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds.
13. Vote to adjourn.
